Best Movies to Watch on Netflix Right Now [February 2024]

I recently did a post on movies to watch right now for January 2024 on Paramount+ if that is your streaming service, but if you have Netflix, these are the best movies they have to watch right now. If you are looking specifically for a good love story or something to make you laugh, you will want to look at this Romantic Movie List or the Comedy Movie List, which include the best movies of those genres that are on Netflix this winter 2024. The list below includes mainly drama and action movies of a more serious nature, with gripping plots and some intense scenes. Any that I haven’t seen are on the top of my watch next list.

For some reason there are no good trailers of this movie. It is the best movie on realities of parenting I have ever seen, intertwining the stories of adult siblings and their different challenges raising their children, with a good combination of comedy and deep aspects and a really good cast.

Whiplash

“Whiplash” is an intense drama film about the intense relationship between a young drummer, played by Miles Teller, and his demanding music instructor, portrayed by J.K. Simmons. The film explores themes of ambition, perfectionism, and the cost of pursuing greatness. I highly recommend it.
